Fanfiction for E-Readers
Since I’ve owned my Kindle, one of the best things about it is that I can read fan-fiction without the need to carry around my laptop (or stare at my desktop). There are some truly amazing authors out there who have delved into the worlds created by various published series. By far, my favorites have been in the world of Harry Potter. I’ve read some of the works out there for others, including Twilight, Star Wars, & Narnia, but I always come back to Harry Potter.
One of the downsides to all this fanfiction is that some of the sites don’t make it easy to get files that are readable by e-readers. I’ve taken the time to get them into a more compatible format, and want to share those here. A few of them were not “transcribed” (as it were) by me, and I’m merely re-posting them here to provide another channel of exposure to fabulous authors.
I want to make it clear that these works are not my own. I only take credit for converting the file format on most of them. All works are the property of their respective owners. (Authors, please email me and I will remove them ASAP if you disagree with me posting them here.)
Works are listed by author, and in no particular order. Starred items represent incomplete works (as the author likely abandoned them, but not necessarily in all cases. They may still be works in progress. My general tendency is to convert a long unfinished piece if it still is WIP or has been abandoned.) All file formats are .mobi, and should be supported across all e-reader platforms. When converting, I set up my profile to fit the Amazon Kindle, so don’t be surprised if the formats look a little wonky on non-Kindle devices.

I will add to this list as I continue converting some of the stuff I’ve read in the past, and new finds along the way. My tastes trend towards the canon Harry/Ginny pairing, but there may be a few in here that aren’t. Don’t hold it against me.
